Our project is to prepare a Master Plan for the regeneration of the vegetation on The Spit (Gold Coast, Australia) and create public access for passive recreation, to ensure present and future generations of the community have access to enjoy, appreciate and care for The Spit.

Friends of Federation Walk is the Community group specific to the Federation Walk project. Started as a Sub Committee of the Main Beach Progress Association Inc. who were awarded a grant of $75,000.00, under the Queensland Community Assistance Program, administered by the Centenary of Federation secretariat of the Premiers Department.
